11th May, Sunday, 10:15am. Basic introduction to vegetative grass identification. Wester Kittochside NTS, near East Kilbride . Leader Clare O'Reilly. Joint with BSBI. 18th May, Sunday, time to be confirmed. Arthur's Seat, Midlothian . Leaders Jim Mclntosh & Douglas McKean. Joint with BSBI. We hope to see species such as Adder's-tongue (Ophioglossum vulgatum), Spring Sandwort (Minuartia verna), Spring Cinquefoil (Potentilla tabernaemontani). Booking as above.

14th June, Saturday, time to be confirmed. Pass of Killiecrankie. Leaders Jim Mclntosh & Martin Robinson. Joint with BSBI. We hope to see many interesting species such as Bird's-nest Orchid (Neottia nidus-avis), Common Wintergreen (Pyrola minor) and Lily-of-the-valley (Convallaria majalis). Booking as above.

20th-22nd June, Friday-Sunday, start 9:30am on Saturday. Girvan, Ayrshire. Leaders Dave Lang & Jim Mclntosh. Joint with BSBI. Whilst the focus will be on tetrad recording, there will be ample opportunity to see some of the area's specialities including Isle of Man Cabbage (Coincya monensis), Oyster-plant (Mertensia maritima) and Spring Sandwort (Minuartia verna). 28th June, Saturday, 10:00am. Alpine field meeting. Creag na Caillich. The south-western end of the Tarmachan range near Killin. The cliffs on Creag na Caillich have a rich alpine flora. We hope to see interesting species such as Scottish Dock (Rumex aquaticus), Tufted Loosestrife (Lysimachia thrysiflora) and Cowbane (Cicuta virosa).
