Never been to a Scottish Annual Meeting? Come along, all members are cordially invited. An interesting
blend of exhibits and talks are planned to generate a lively discussion. Our main speakers this year will be the
authors of The Flora of Rum. Summerfield Books will have a stand: Paul and Chris O' Hara will be
pleased to answer enquiries and take orders in advance; tel. no. 01786 484909 http://www.summerfieldbooks.com.
The RBGE staff canteen will be open at lunchtime and the evening meal will be held in the Conference Room/ Exhibition
area. Coffees and teas will be on sale during the day, thanks to the assistance of BSS volunteers. The start time has
been made a little later to allow extra travelling and setting up time. Registration and setting up exhibits will run from
09.00 until 10.15 followed by the first session in the Lecture Theatre.
We would be grateful if everyone can return their booking form by 1st October to ease the organisation of the meeting.
This will also allow the organisers to send a finalised programme, a list of delegates and tickets for the evening meal in
good time for the meeting. If possible, please make your booking to Jane Jones by e-mail, and send your cheques for the
evening
meal in the post. Please come along
to all of the meeting.
